Scrooge Gets New Redemption In Hope Media Group Podcast

Hope Media Group is set to release an all-new, four-part adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic, Scrooge: A Christmas Carol. the dramatized podcast features a star-studded cast including Sean Astin of Lord of the Rings and John Rhys-Davies of Indiana Jones.

While staying true to the original tale, this new adaptation introduces fresh elements that emphasize themes of hope, forgiveness, and redemption. Listeners will follow the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge as he undergoes a transformation after being visited by the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come.

The miniseries, premiering November 16, is in partnership with Compassion International, KSBJ, and WayFM. Created by screenwriter P.G. Cuschieri and producer Mark Ramsey, the podcast will also feature original music by Kerri Roberts, with lyrics inspired by the story.
