Shaun “Ridder” Ridderbush, a familiar voice in Milwaukee’s country music radio scene, has landed new roles with West Bend-based Magnum Media. The former morning show co-host at iHeartMedia’s WMIL is set to host shows on two of Magnum Media’s country stations. He will be on air for mornings on WVTY in Racine and middays on WMBZ in West Bend.
Ridder was previously let go from WMIL in April due to cost-cutting measures. He had been a part of WMIL’s morning show since 2017 and served as the imaging director and afternoon host for three years prior to that. Apart from his radio career, Ridder also runs a YouTube channel focused on kayak bass fishing, known as Return2Wild with Shaun Ridder.
“I’m excited to be back on the air connecting with people,” Ridder stated. “I’d done it for seven years, so I really missed it.”
