WTN Nashville talker Phil Valentine is fighting for his life. Valentine is in very serious condition with COVID Pneumonia after testing positive July 11th. Here’s a statement released by his family:
“Phil contracted the Covid virus a little over a week ago & has since been hospitalized & is in very serious condition, suffering from Covid Pneumonia and the attendant side effects. He is in the hospital in the critical care unit breathing with assistance but is NOT on a ventilator. We’d ask that everyone please refrain from contacting him while he is in the hospital. Phil would like for his listeners to know that while he has never been an “anti-vaxer” he regrets not being more vehemently ‘Pro-Vaccine’, and looks forward to being able to more vigorously advocate that position as soon as he is back on the air, which we all hope will be soon. Phil & his family would like for all of you to know that he loves ya’ll and appreciates your concern, thoughts & prayers more than you will ever know. Please continue to pray for his recovery and PLEASE GO GET VACCINATED!”

I have never listened to PV. If I were a believer I would put all my energy into protecting the people who unfortunately have no choice but to take care of him and put themselves at risk. While we have a vaccine to fight Covid, there is no vaccine for idiot. PV missed he boat on one and is protected because there is none for the other.

‘I was deceiving you about the virus and getting vaccinated and I deeply regret misleading you and lying about this by playing politics with this terrible virus and I call upon my fellow conservative media industry colleagues and do the same. I hope you’ll forgive me’.

People having legitimate questions or concerns about a new medical treatment, still technically in the test phase, is not automatically “misleading” or “lying”.

PS – what I posted wasn’t insensitive. Even he was quoted imploring his listeners to put politics aside and get vaccinated. He now gets it, too.

Phil has NEVER been anti-vax. He has stated that he didn’t feel like HE needed to take it. He never told anyone NOT to take it, so it is you sir who is purposely LYING. He has always stated that you should consider your own health risks, and if you are high risk, by all means take the vaccine. He just had decided that HE, personally, didn’t think he needed it. He was wrong, but we are always wrong sometimes. He wasn’t deceiving anybody, and had you ever listened to his broadcast on WTN, you would have already known this. You are the one “playing politics”.
If he was never Covid-19 anti-vaccine, why is he now coming out saying he was wrong and should have implored them to absolutely get vaccinated, as he is unquestionably doing now.
And, again, i sincerely do hope he gets well soon so he can tell his story and his hospitalization will be an example to others.
