The Voice of Sports in Rock County Wisconsin, Al Fagerli, has passed. The WCLO/WJVL veteran of 36 years died after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He retired in 2016.
“Al often talked in the year’s preceding his retirement of the incidents where he had called ballgames for both parents when they were in school, and then their children,” said Tim Bremel, OM. “The team of Bob and Al in the mornings reigned supreme for several years and set the stage for multiple WBA awards for WCLO and Al.”
A celebration of life and memorial service will held at a later date. Fagerli was 67.
