iHeartMedia Philadelphia has named Matt Michaels Digital Program Director. In addition, he will continue to serve as a weekend on-air host for 106.1 The Breeze. Michaels will report to Brian Check, Regional Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Philadelphia.
Most recently, Michaels served as iHeartMedia Philadelphia’s Digital Coordinator, where he produced Show Bizz Buzz with Valerie Knight on The Breeze. In addition, he also served as a producer for Chio in the Morning Show for the station.
“Matt has already proven he is a leader and is well respected by both programming and sales,” said Check. “Five years ago, he made an immediate mark as an intern and it has been incredibly rewarding to watch him grow and step into this new role.”
