NAB President & CEO Gordon Smith will be the featured speaker at The Media Institute’s Communications Forum luncheon today. Smith will be discussing increased competition from technology companies, the expiration of satellite television legislation (STELAR), and broadcast innovation. The speech will be followed by a Q&A session.
Smith’s presentation will take place in the Colonnade Room of the Fairmont Hotel, 2401 M St. NW, Washington, DC. The luncheon and speech are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., and will be preceded by a reception (12 noon to 12:30 p.m.).
