Hubbard Radio’s WFED 1500 AM (Federal News Radio) is the new flagship home for the Capitals and Wizards radio networks starting this season. Both teams were heard on CBS Radio’s 106.7 The Fan.
106.7 The Fan PD Chris Kinard told The Washington Post “We are expanding our top-rated sports talk programming into the evening hours, and are creating dedicated segments and regularly scheduled team-specific shows for fans of both teams. We will continue to air play-by-play of the Nationals, Virginia Tech football and basketball, Georgetown basketball and NFL prime-time games.”
