Sometimes-controversial political talk jock William J. Kelly’s The Citizen Kelly Show has been expanded to middays on AM 1590 WCGO. The Emmy award-winning producer and commentator starts his noon to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, shift this week in the Windy City.
“I’m thrilled to be moving to middays at WCGO,” Kelly says. “To me – this move represents an opportunity to make Chicago radio great again. Great like it once was but isn’t now. With The Citizen Kelly Show, first, we will capture the hearts and minds of people throughout Chicagoland and then…the world.”
Kelly will also assume the official role of Sales Manager for the station. 1590 WCGO is a 10,000-watt radio station based in Evanston, Illinois.
