Galaxy Communications has been honored with three awards from the New York State Broadcasters Association. Gomez & Lisa in the Morning on WTKW (Classic Rock TK99) and WOUR has won the Best Sportscast Award. WTLA-ESPN Radio 97.7/100.1 picked up an award for Best Sports Commentary for a piece on the Syracuse University Basketball Program by staffer Brent Axe. And, the morning show, known as The Show on WKRL and WKLL (K-Rock), was awarded Best Morning Show in a Medium Market.
