All 53 Radio One radio stations and seven national network personalities will now use Clip Interactive to deliver interactive broadcast and streaming content feeds to listeners via Clip-built mobile apps and web players. The deal was signed after Radio One tested the products for seven months at its Washington, DC cluster.
“We’re excited to be working with Clip across our entire content platform of local radio and national network personalities” said Mark Charnock, Chief Digital Officer of R1 Digital, the new radio digital network of Radio One and Reach Media. “We strongly believe their interactive platform for broadcast, web and mobile listening will enhance our value to listeners and advertisers, leveraging the core strengths of our great stations and personalities. Clip’s unique technology solutions, supported by their dedicated team, represent a major digital advancement for radio operators, and we’re excited to continue to work with them.”
