It’s a multi-year contract renewal for Michael Martin. Martin is Senior VP of Programming and Music Initiatives for CBS Radio and PD at Top 40 station KMVQ-FM and Hot AC KLLC-FM in San Francisco. Martin is also CBS Radio’s Top 40 format captain.
CBS Radio Executive Vice President of Programming Chris Oliviero said, “Since the creation of this important position less than three years ago, Michael has reshaped and evolved the dynamic partnership between our stations, artists, labels, and managers. His leadership, his relationships, and his respected reputation have helped rewrite the playbook on how radio continues to create for fans many of the best and most memorable moments in music.”
Martin said, “I’m incredibly proud to be part of this amazing team with Chris Oliviero and Andre Fernandez at the helm. Every day I get to do what I love and I get to do it with the best in the business. I’m excited about what’s around the corner and am so glad I’m a part of it!”
