Binghamton’s Roger Neel Retires
After 42 years in radio Roger Neel worked his final day this past Friday. Neel worked mornings at Townsquare's all-news station WNBF. Neel was also PD (now Brand Manager) at the station since 1986. He writes about his time at the station HERE.
Chase Replaces Brannigan
On Thursday SummitMedia named Randy Chase SVP of Programming where he'll oversee all of Summit's country stations. Chase replaces Beverly Brannigan who left the company abruptly earlier this week. For the past seven years, Chase was with EMF as VP of Radio.
Foxx Trots To Charlotte
Entercom has hired Terry Foxx as Brand Manager for Charlotte sports station WFNZ. Foxx moves to Charlotte from Entercom's sports station WZGC-FM in Atlanta where he was also Brand Manager.

Urban One Indy PD Passes
Grisel Barajas, Program Director for Urban One's WNOW (LaGrande 105.1) in Indianapolis, died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday. She was riding with her boyfriend, who was the driver. He survived the crash. Barajas ws only 31 years old.
Morris Joins RadioAnimal
RadioAnimal Media Strategies has added former radio programmer Rob Morris to its consulting team. Morris' resume includes VP of Programming for CBS Radio in Tampa and Miami and PD at KDWB in Minneapolis-St. Paul.
Host Dies in Kayak Accident
Hometown Broadcasting in Wisconsin announced on its website that a tragic kayaking accident over the weekend took the life of Tami McCauley, who listeners knew as Lexi Young. McCauley was kayaking with her sister Saturday, on the Mecan River, when something went wrong and she drowned.
