NRG Media has hired Allyson Hillman to run the Cedar Rapids/Waterloo market which includes KOKZ, KFMW, KXEL and KPTY. Hillman is headed to Cedar Rapids from Fort Myers where she worked for Beasley as D.O.S.
Pags Celebrates Ten
Premiere Networks announced today that this month marks Joe Pags’ 10-year anniversary as host of The Weekend. The three-hour weekend talk program is heard on over 300 stations. Pags started his broadcasting career in 1989 in Palm Beach Florida.

98.5 KFOX (KUFX-FM,San Jose) welcomed a new morning show this week. San Jose's Great Radio Experiment was created from in-house talent at the Bonneville Classic Rocker.

Salem Radio Network host Larry Elder premiered a new documentary he produced June 19. Elder served as the Executive Producer of UNCLE TOM: An Oral History of the American Black Conservative.

Colorado Springs-based Way Media has announced a series of promotions at the Christian content ministry. CEO John Scaggs said, “We’ve spent the last few months setting new priorities and goals, as well as restructuring our executive leadership team to meet these challenges."
Binghamton’s Roger Neel Retires
After 42 years in radio Roger Neel worked his final day this past Friday. Neel worked mornings at Townsquare's all-news station WNBF. Neel was also PD (now Brand Manager) at the station since 1986. He writes about his time at the station HERE.
Chase Replaces Brannigan
On Thursday SummitMedia named Randy Chase SVP of Programming where he'll oversee all of Summit's country stations. Chase replaces Beverly Brannigan who left the company abruptly earlier this week. For the past seven years, Chase was with EMF as VP of Radio.
Foxx Trots To Charlotte
Entercom has hired Terry Foxx as Brand Manager for Charlotte sports station WFNZ. Foxx moves to Charlotte from Entercom's sports station WZGC-FM in Atlanta where he was also Brand Manager.
