Heather Cohen, Executive Vice President of the Weiss Agency and Board Chair, Alliance for Women in Media will be among the seven women awardees at the Multicultural Media & Correspondents Association’s “Sheroes in Media” Awards Gala tonight.

The former FBI agent, best known for his role in the 1972 Watergate break-in that led to the resignation of Richard Nixon, hosted a conservative talk show syndicated by Radio America on 270 radio stations. He retired in 2012. Liddy, a father of five, was 90 years old.

As we reported back on March 24th, the long-time WFLA host was moved into Hospice care. Webb passed away Tuesday afternoon. He was suffering from dialysis and dementia. Webb's family is planning a tribute for their father that will be announced soon. Webb left radio back in 2017. Art Vuolo has a video tribute HERE.

Cox Media Group has appointed Keith Lawless as Regional Vice President for Tampa and Houston. Lawless has been running Tampa for CMG since 2009. He's also been a GM and a GSM for the company. Lawless was recognized as Radio Ink’s Radio Wayne GM of the Year in 2016 and has been on Radio Ink’s 30 Best Managers List several times.

Urban One CEO Alfred Liggins and Craig Robinson, Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer for NBCUniversal have been appointed to the BMI Board of Directors. Their terms begin tomorrow.

Fox News Radio has signed a long term extension with WABC-AM to continue carrying The Brian Kilmeade Show. The show airs weekdays 10 AM to Noon.

,i>Alternative Rock X98.5 has added The Ace & TJ Family show to the line-up. This is the second go around for the pair in the Greenville/Spartanburg, SC market.

Alpha Media Aurora/Joliet has promoted Todd Boss to content director of WCCQ-FM. Todd has spent the last nine years in the afternoon drive on WCCQ and has been with Alpha Media for 13 years.

Samuel Tatum is now the VP of Integrated Marketing & Partnerships for the company. It's a newly created position. Tatum has been with Urban One since 2004, holding various positions of increasing responsibility, and most recently as D.O.S. at its Washington, DC cluster.

Bo Jaxon is the new PD at Cat Country 95.1/KATC-FM in Colorado Springs. Jaxon joined Cumulus Colorado Springs in April 2020 and previously served KATC-FM as Morning Host and Assistant Program Director.
