Harry Hamm, who was sentenced to federal prison this spring for possessing child pornography, has died. Hamm was 79 and was dealing with heart issues. Hamm was sentenced in April to nearly six years after pleading guilty.

Melissa Chase will be the new Brand Manager of Mix 96.5 (KHMX-FM) and 95.7 The Spot (KKHH-FM) in Houston. She comes over from SummitMedia in Richmond, VA where she was Operations Manager and Program Director for 12 years.

Tavis Smiley has hired Elston Howard Butler to serve as president and GM of Smiley's Progressive talker KBLA-AM Talk 1580. Butler will also serve as president and COO of the holding company, Smiley Audio Media Inc.

KRWM-FM Seattle morning host Seth Hughes has signed a new deal to continue hosting morning drive and adds Music Director duties for the Hubbard Radio Seattle AC station.

Radio vet Ted Stryker went to Twitter to announce he's leaving the morning show at Alternative 106.7 KROQ. Stryker has spent 22 years at the Audacy (formerly CBS Radio) station.

Premiere's Conservative syndicated personality Ben Ferguson will make an appearance on FOX News Channel’s Outnumbered today at 12 p.m. ET. Ferguson will discuss the latest news stories and headlines for an hour with hosts, Harris Faulkner, Emily Compagno, Kayleigh McEnany and Kennedy.

Magnum Broadcasting has promoted Patrick Ryan from GM of WEEO-FM in Chambersburg, PA and Hagerstown, MD to Vice-President. Ryan will now oversee programming for Magnum's four properties from the Florida Keys to Pennsylvania and continue to manage daily operations in the Pennsylvania market.
