Jox 94.5/WJOX-FM is putting former Alabama QB Greg McElroy and former Auburn Offensive Lineman Cole Cubelic together. The weekday 7-10 AM show kicks-off July 12.
Nextar Cuts Hockey Host Due to COVID
Chris Boden is out after 4 years as studio host of Chicago Blackhawk games. He posted on Facebook that his position was eliminated due to "COVID-related financial losses." The games are carried by Nexstar Media Group's WGN-AM.
The Weather is Changing in Atlanta
Cox Media Group has announced that longtime WSB Radio veteran, radio meteorologist Kirk Mellish is retiring at the end of July. Mellish has been with WSB for over 30 years. He'll transition into a consultants role through the end of the year.
Clancy Retiring After 34 Years
Alisa Clancy has been with KCSM, the community radio station at the College of San Mateo for 34 years, and in radio for over 40 years. Clancy, who hosts A Morning Cup of Jazz on KCSM, will leave the station Friday. The Mercury News has a nice piece on Clancy HERE.
Saying Goodbye At WFAN
Wednesday was Mark Chernoff's last day as Program Director at WFAN. The long-time programmer was honored as the station unveiled The Mark Chernoff WFAN Newsroom. Spike Eskin takes over as PD of WFAN today.

Spanish Broadcasting System Miami General Manager Donny Hudson has been appointed to the Florida Association of Broadcasters’ Board of Directors. Hudson has been with SBS for 22 years.
Ordway Retiring From Afternoons on WEEI
WEEI Boston afternoon host Glenn Ordway has announced his retirement after 34 years. While Ordway will step away from day-to-day co-hosting duties on the Ordway Merloni and Fauria, he'll remain at the station, hosting The Real Post Game Show following every Patriots’ game and developing a podcast.
