New Co-Host For Saga Des Moines
Saga's KIOA-FM in Des Moines has hired a new morning show co-host for the station. Jeriney (pictured) joins the station from Audacy, Kansas City’s KRBZ FM, where she was most recently the producer of the syndicated afternoon show, The Church of Lazlo.
Cortez Back At The Beat
The Dana Cortez show has returned to mornings in San Antonio. Cortez and her crew return to 98.5 The Beat (KBBT-FM) after about a four-year absence from the market.

Audacy in Kansas City has named JR Ammons Operations Manager. He will also serve as Brand Manager for two of the stations in the four-station cluster.
iHeart Promotes Sprague, Adams
On Friday, iHeartMedia Chief Programming Officer and President of the National Programming Group, Tom Poleman announced that Mark Adams and Dylan Sprague were named VP's for the company's CHR format. And, Cara Hahn and Taylor Jukes have officially joined iHeart as CHR Brand Coordinators.

Legendary Salt Lake City Broadcaster Passes
Albert (Gene) Guthrie, of Grantsville, Utah, has died of natural causes. He was 83. At the age of just 15, Guthrie found his love for radio and regularly rode the train to El Paso where he worked at KHEY AM while attending high school.
Kelly Mac Resigns as KTCX PD
According to Mac, after having employees work remotely for 19 months, Cumulus Media Beaumont has eliminated their real estate footprint in Beaumont, and relocated its studios, office and staff with its cluster in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Madison Ends Hunger Strike
SiriusXM host Joe Madison has been on a hunger strike since November of 2021 hoping Congress would pass voting rights legislation. Now that it appears that issue is dead in the water on Capitol Hill, after 74 days without eating, Madison is throwing in the towel. Listen to his statement HERE.

Radio & TV personality Sam Alex’s inaugural Camp Broadcast Acoustic Concert was held this past Sunday, raising money for student scholarships to attend Camp Broadcast. Money is still being collected so the final tally is not yet known.
