News station KCBS-AM in San Francisco has hired Bret Burkhart as an anchor. Burkhart spent the last 23 years with KGO radio in San Francisco. Burkhart has numerous Edward R. Murrow Awards in his trophy case and has been named the Associated Press Reporter of the Year eight times.

Miguel Perez has joined NPR's World Cafe music program produced by WXPN, Philadelphia. Perez joins from KERA in Dallas where he was an Arts Reporter and Digital Producer.

97.1FM The Drive (WDRV-FM) Chicago midday host Bob Stroud is winding down his career. At the end of June, Stroud will give up his full-time duties and begin semi-retirement.

Legendary Yankees radio play-by-play host John Sterling plans to miss about 30 away games this season. The soon-to-be 84-year old calls Yankee games for WFAN with Suzyn Waldman. Sterling has been calling baseball games for 52 years.
