Chris Hoffman Promoted By Cumulus
Chris Hoffman has been promoted to Vice President of Adult Contemporary where he will be responsible for 27 AC-formatted radio stations. Hoffman will continue in his role as Operations Manager for Cumulus Salt Lake City’s KUBL-FM, KBEE-FM, and KKAT-AM.

Samantha Max, criminal justice reporter for WPLN in Nashville, has been honored with a 2021 Daniel Schorr Journalism Award. Her investigative report on a systemic pattern of misconduct, silence and retaliation in the Nashville police department earned her the award.

Bobby O’Jay Dead at 68
Channel 3 in Memphis is reporting that WDIA host Bobby O'Jay died while he was at the station Tuesday morning. Midday host Bev Johnson told the station when O’Jay would open the phone line at 9 a.m., the radio station was only playing music.
Steve French Retiring
WNIR 100 FM in Akron, OH is saying goodbye to station veteran Steve French. French has been part of "The Morning Buzz" program since June of 1995.
