WPST-FM In Trenton announced on Friday that Gianna Oakley (pictured) has been hired as Morning Show Producer for Chris & The Crew and Austyn Fennell is the new Afternoon Drive host and APD.

WDWS, Champaign, IL host Jim Turpin died Sunday at the age of 90. Turpin called Illini football and men’s basketball for 42 years, retiring from the booth in 2002. He was VP/GM of WDWS and WHMS in Champaign and for years hosted WDWS’ “Penny For Your Thoughts” through 2017.

Veteran sports broadcaster Jerry Schemmel has returned to the KOA Colorado Rockies Radio Network. He will share play-by-play and color analyst duties with Jack Corrigan. He returns after a two-year hiatus.

Cane Peterson is joining Press Communications owned classic rocker "The Boss," WWZY/WBHX in Monmouth Ocean. He'll host nights and weekends. Cane has been heard in the market for over 20 years on several other stations most recently with Audacy.

Former KZIA Morning Show Host & Music Director, Ric Swann has died. He worked in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa market since 1988 and was co-host of "Schulte & Swann" on KZIA.

Jordan Smith is the new Marketing Director for Educational Media Foundation, parent ministry of K-LOVE and Air1 radio networks. She served most recently as marketing manager at Compassion International, a non-profit organization that has partnered with K-LOVE and Air1 to help fight poverty.

Talk Radio 570 KVI is moving The Dana Show to an earlier slot, an adding The Rita Cosby Show in its place. Cosby inherits the 9-11 p.m. slot with Loesch moving to 6-9 p.m.

Beasley Media Group has promoted Daniel Mann to Digital Strategist at WJBR FM (MIX 99.5) in Wilmington. He most recently served as an AE at the station. In his he will work closely with WJBR Account Executives in planning and executing digital sales.

Well known Cleveland media personality Jimmy Malone is joining Newsradio WTAM 1100. 'The Jimmy Malone Show' debuts April 12, taking over the 9-10 a.m. slot vacated by Geraldo Rivera.
