Premiere Networks syndicated host Enrique Santos has been broadcasting live from Jerusalem this week. Santos’ broadcast from Israel coincides with the news that German sports brand Adidas is severing business ties with Kanye West, for a series of anti-Jewish comments.

Audacy is launching a new morning show on SportsRadio 94WIP (WIP-FM) in Philadelphia. Midday hosts Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie will move to morning drive when Angelo Cataldi retires at the end of the current NFL Football season.

During a ceremony Wednesday, Talk Radio 77 WABC dedicated its main studio to Bernard (Bernie) McGuirk, WABC's morning co-host who passed away earlier this month from prostate cancer. Wednesday would have been McGuirk’s 65th birthday.

iHeartMedia announced on Thursday that Jon Zellner has been named President of Programming Operations and Digital Music for iHeartRadio. Zellner will manage the programming, content and strategy for iHeart's digital channels and playlists while continuing to oversee iHeartMedia’s programming operations at its 850 local radio stations.

The Kansas Association of Broadcasters held its convention in Manhattan, Kansas this week. Taking home first place in the Morning Show category – from Topeka's KMAJ (Majic 107.7) - were Shawn Knight and Danielle Norwood.

Tim Spence is the new Director of Sports Operations for KTFM/KZDC, San Antonio Sports Star, 94.1 FM, 1250 AM. Spence was PD for KHOW, KCOL, and APD for KOA in Denver. He was also affiliate relations manager for the 140 station network for the Broncos and Rockies. 

NRG Media has hired D-Wayne Taylor as the new PD for RED 94.5. in Lincoln, Nebraska. Taylor replaces Tiago Rey, who left NRG to work for Univision in Houston in their creative services department.

Comedian and social justice advocate Amanda Seales becomes a syndicated radio host On November 7th. Seales will be syndicated by Urban One's Reach Media and launch on WRNB-FM in Philadelphia.

Rome Radio Partners won seven “GABBY” Awards from the Georgia Association of Broadcasters. The awards are presented to Radio and Television stations across the state of Georgia for excellence in broadcasting and service to the Community.
