Republicans Turn To Radio To Twist Arms

The American Action Network, a nonprofit group aligned with Speaker Paul Ryan, is turning up the heat on opponents of the American Health Care Act. The bill will be voted on by the House, Thursday, and according to The Washington Examiner, the non-profit launched a $10 million radio campaign on conservative talk stations in 28 House districts.

CBS Bosses To Be Part of New Entercom Board

Monday afternoon CBS and Entercom filed applications with the FCC to move forward with the merger that was announced back in February. CBS CEO Les Moonves and COO Joe Ianniello are proposed to be directors of Entercom for six months once the merger is complete.

Indeed held onto the third spot (32,531), followed by The Home Depot (32,180), and the United States Department of Transportation (30,435).

6,000-watt WHJT, owned by Mississippi College in Jackson, Mississippi, is being sold to New South Radio for $600,000 cash at closing. The college was represented by brokers Greg Guy and Jason James of Patrick Communications.
