iHeartMedia New Orleans has debuted 104.1 The Spot, “We Play Anything.” The station will broadcast top hits from the 70s, 80s, and early 90s, including songs from artists like Madonna, Boston, Bon Jovi, and Duran Duran. The station celebrated Labor Day Weekend with three and a half days of commercial-free music.
“104.1 The Spot provides New Orleans listeners with something they don’t have, a home for all of their favorites,” said Angela Watson, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia New Orleans. “Fans will be able to listen for 30 minutes straight and sing along to every single song they hear.”
“New Orleans has a Classic Rock station, and we also have an Easy Listening station, but 104.1 The Spot will take the best from those worlds, sprinkle in some more recent favorites, and play all of the hits, non-stop, 24/7,” said Joseph Sergio, Program Director for 104.1 The Spot.
