Ivy Savoy-Smith has been promoted to the role of Senior Vice President and Market Manager of Entercom Washington, DC. Savoy-Smith replaces Phil Zachary who was bumped up to the Entercom corporate office.

Maer Receives Lifetime Award
CBS’ Peter Maer has received a lifetime achievement award from the St. Louis Press Club. Maer has been a voice for national news for more than a quarter century. He retired from CBS News in 2015.
Entercom DC Raises $440K
WLZL-FM (El Zol) in Washington, DC, brought in $440,000 to benefit Children’s National Hospital during its annual Children’s National Radiotón. The amount donated during the 12th annual event brought overall contributions to over $4.6 million since 2008.
