ABC7 in San Francisco is reporting that former KGO overnight talker Ray Taliaferro has been found dead behind a stadium in Paducah Ky. Taliaferro was missing for three weeks. The FBI is assisting in the investigation of his death. 

Newscaster Ron Burgundy, played by funnyman Will Ferrell in the 2004 movie Anchorman, and iHeart, are launching The Ron Burgundy Podcast, in early 2019. Both iHeart and “Burgundy” had a lot of fun with the Monday night press release and on Twitter.

Eugene Levin will step down as Entercom’s Principal Accounting Officer and Controller, effective December 31. He will continue to work for the company on a consulting basis.

On Monday, iHeart announced some good news regarding its bankruptcy proceeding. The company says it has received overwhelming creditor support for its plan to reorganize. iHeart filed for chapter 11 protection back in March and is expected to emerge in 2019 with 50% less debt, knocking off $10 billion.
