Ian Kelly Moving Up In Spokane
The Morgan Murphy Media Radio Group in Spokane, WA has promoted Ian Kelly to Program Director of KEZE-FM, Music Director and Afternoon Drive personality of KZZU-FM. Kelly has been with the group since 2006.
Urban One Joins Ohio Hispanic Market
Thanks to a Local Marketing Agreement, Urban One in Columbus, OH has entered the local Hispanic market. The company will assume operating responsibility for WWCD-FM 102.5 from Southern Ohio Broadcasting System.
Cumulus, NCAA in Legal Battle
With the cancellation of March Madness in 2020, Cumulus says the rights fees for the 2020 season should not have to be paid. The NCAA disagrees. As a result of non-payment, the NCAA cancelled its contract with Cumulus. In September Cumulus and the NCAA filed competing lawsuits regarding the dispute.
iHeart Picks up Baldwin
iHeartMedia and Alec Baldwin announced on Thursday that Baldwin’s podcast “Here’s The Thing” will join the iHeartPodcast Network. Baldwin will enter the tenth season of the podcast when he joins the iHeartPodcast Network in January 2021.

Entercom And Urban One Cut A Deal
Entercom is acquiring three stations from Urban One: WPHI-FM in Philadelphia, Hot 104.1 (WHHL-FM) in St. Louis and 980 The Team (WTEM-AM) in Washington D.C. In exchange, Entercom is trading its Charlotte stations to Urban One.
Roberts Promoted by Cumulus
Cumulus has promoted Ken Roberts to Market Manager for its Washington, D.C. market. Roberts moves up from his role as VP of Sales. Roberts replaces Jake McCann who's returning home to Philadelphia to lead The HOW Group, a real estate investment group.
