SBS Radiothon A Huge Success
SBS's KRZZ, which covers 9 counties in the San Francisco/Oakland area, raised over $418,000 during its 2020 Radiothon for the Children's Miracle Network. A total of $418,952 in donations were called in from listeners during the two day event.
Cumulus Dallas Hauls in $443K For Kids
Cumulus Dallas stations KSCS-FM and KPLX-FM joined together for a two day broadcast to raise money for Cook Children’s Medical Center in Texas. Talent from each station took to their microphones together, in a simulcast Country for the Kids Radiothon and raised $443,757.
Compass Media Networks’ Susan O’Connell Retiring
O'Connell is the VP of News-Talk Affiliate Sales for Compass Media Networks. Her final day will be December 31st. O'Connell has spent the last 40 years managing News-Talk radio affiliate sales including the last six years with Compass Media Networks.
