WW1 Sets College Hoops Schedule
Westwood One is preparing to tip-off the 2021 college basketball schedule. Live play-by-play audio broadcasts of the 2020-21 college basketball season begin January 13.
Gracies Deadline Extended
The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation has extended the deadline to submit entries for the 46th Annual Gracie Awards, at the regular rate, until January 21. AWMF is also offering a further extended deadline of January 28, at an additional cost.
SBG Developing CRM Software
Sun Broadcast group will launch a proprietary CRM later this year. SBG has signed an interim agreement with Salesforce for its CRM needs.
SCPR Picks Up $500K CPB Grant
Southern California Public Radio has received a two-year grant from The Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The $500,000 grant will support development of content that represents the diversity of Southern California.

Crystal Radio Awards Accepting Entries
The National Association of Broadcasters is accepting entries for the 34th annual NAB Crystal Radio Awards. Winners will receive national recognition for their community service work during a special awards presentation hosted by NAB in spring 2021.
Comments on Boosters Due February 12th
On Monday the U.S. Federal Register published the official notification from the Federal Commission's notice of proposed rule making adopted on November 20, 2020 that would allow FM broadcasters to use boosters to air geo-targeted content.
