Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corporation has appointed Cindi Lash as Executive Editor. She joins PCBC from Missouri Lawyers Media where she has been editor since 2018.

Everyone is finally realizing how powerful audio is. Facebook reported that more than 170 million people follow podcast pages on its platform and the company plans to make it easier to access podcasts. Facebook is also launching a new product very similar to Clubhouse. The company also stated the obvious: "We think a lot of magic happens at the intersection of audio formats."

Alpha Media's Watertown cluster held its 21st annual Sanford Children's Miracle Network Radiothon on April 14th and 15th, raising more than $135,000. It was a record amount raised by the cluster.

He's been away from the New York Mets radio booth for one week. The radio voice of the team tweeted that he's returning tonight after an illness not related to COVID. The Mets take on the Cubs Tuesday. WCBS in New York carries Mets games.
