Apple has now announced that it is launching its new Apple Podcasts Subscriptions platform next week. An e-mail was sent out to podcasters Wednesday, stating that "subscriptions and channels in the Apple Podcasts application will go live on June 15."

Radio vet Ted Stryker went to Twitter to announce he's leaving the morning show at Alternative 106.7 KROQ. Stryker has spent 22 years at the Audacy (formerly CBS Radio) station.

Premiere's Conservative syndicated personality Ben Ferguson will make an appearance on FOX News Channel’s Outnumbered today at 12 p.m. ET. Ferguson will discuss the latest news stories and headlines for an hour with hosts, Harris Faulkner, Emily Compagno, Kayleigh McEnany and Kennedy.

Magnum Broadcasting has promoted Patrick Ryan from GM of WEEO-FM in Chambersburg, PA and Hagerstown, MD to Vice-President. Ryan will now oversee programming for Magnum's four properties from the Florida Keys to Pennsylvania and continue to manage daily operations in the Pennsylvania market.

Ann Alquist, a public radio journalist who has managed newsroom operations in Alaska, St. Louis, Maine and Rhode Island, was named executive director and GM of WBHM 90.3 FM – NPR News for the heart of Alabama on Tuesday.
