GM Authority is reporting that General Motors will drop HD Radio from the feature list for the 2022 Chevy Silverado HD and 2022 GMC Sierra HD pickup trucks. The deletion is being blamed on a global microchip shortage. We reached out to Xperi to get their take on what's happening.

Bubba The Love Sponge has obtained an anti-stalking court order against a man who has allegedly made threats against him. The Protection Against Stalking order was issued June 24, 2021 by The Circuit Court of the 13th Judicial District for Hillsborough County, Florida.

Audacy Flips Alternative to Country in Buffalo

The Wolf (WLKK-FM) is Audacy's new Country station in Buffalo. Previously known as Alternative Buffalo, the station will be heard on 107.7 and FM translator 104.7. The station will launch with 5,000 songs commercial-free.

Clancy Retiring After 34 Years

Alisa Clancy has been with KCSM, the community radio station at the College of San Mateo for 34 years, and in radio for over 40 years. Clancy, who hosts A Morning Cup of Jazz on KCSM, will leave the station Friday. The Mercury News has a nice piece on Clancy HERE.
