Over 200 House Members Now Support Free Radio
Eleven members of the House of Representatives have added their support to the Local Radio Freedom Act. The bill that opposes any potential legislation to impose new performance royalties on broadcast radio stations now has 208 co-sponsors in the House and 24 in the Senate.

Legendary Salt Lake City Broadcaster Passes
Albert (Gene) Guthrie, of Grantsville, Utah, has died of natural causes. He was 83. At the age of just 15, Guthrie found his love for radio and regularly rode the train to El Paso where he worked at KHEY AM while attending high school.
Kelly Mac Resigns as KTCX PD
According to Mac, after having employees work remotely for 19 months, Cumulus Media Beaumont has eliminated their real estate footprint in Beaumont, and relocated its studios, office and staff with its cluster in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
