Hard working artists cannot pay the rent and radio stations are to blame was the message repeated during a three-and-a-half hour House Judiciary Committee meeting Wednesday, where the deck was stacked against the radio industry.

Radio Deals Lowest on Record
That's the word from Kagan, which released its 2021 deal numbers this week. The total deal volume for 2021 amounted to $4.72 billion. 92.6% ($4.20 billion) of the total came from two mostly TV deals (there were two radio stations in one of the TV deals).
