The syndicated morning show, Murphy, Sam & Jodi, are now offering stations the opportunity to air the daily program with no cost or commitment to help cover personnel shortages caused by the current coronavirus crisis.

In a memo to employees this morning Entercom CEO David Field announced that, due to the impact the coronavirus pandemic is having on advertising revenue, a "significant" number of positions will be eliminated or furloughed.

Jay Stevens was the SVP of Programming at Radio One from 2007 to 2018. He's worked in Lansing, Rochester, NY, New Orleans, Phoenix and Washington, DC. He also worked for CBS Radio for 16 years. LISTEN

As Radio.com points out in this story, most of the KCBS Radio news team has abandoned the hustle and bustle of the newsroom. They are still getting the job done from their home studios. One reporter even has to contend with the rowdiness of 6-year old twins.
