Marshal Burgess has been named iHeartMedia Market President for Portland. Burgess, who's spent his entire life in the city of Portland, will now be in charge of iHeart's eight-station cluster in that market.

That's according to a Kantar CMAG forecast for the upcoming mid-term elections. During this cycle nearly 40 Governor's races are in play, 35 U.S. Senate seats and all 435 House seats. Add all the local elections on top of that and the money will be flowing in every direction.

WHBC AM/FM in Canton, Ohio raised $1,978 for charity from a two-day sale of records donated by listeners. The money will go to "Wishes Can Happen", a local organization that helps grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.

Kenny Perez has been named as Assistant Program Director and Afternoon Drive Host on WYMS-FM in Milwaukee. His resume includes five years as Audio Production Manager at the station and six years on the air at the University of Wisconsin's WSUW-FM.

Kelbin Live has been named Executive Producer for the Miguel & Holly morning show on WHQC-FM Charlotte, NC. He joins iHeartMedia Charlotte from Cox Media Group's WFLC-FM in Miami.

"The Woody Show" can now be heard on WROX-FM in Norfolk, VA. The Sinclair Communications station is the latest affiliate to pick-up the Premier Networks syndicated show.
