ABC Audio is offering four specials over Labor Day weekend. The specials include ABC News Radio specials examining climate issues and previewing the upcoming midterm elections, a classic rock/classic hits special presented by Speakeasy, and a country music special hosted by country music superstar Jon Pardi.

Gianmarco Soresi, host of the podcast The Downside, has launched a weekly live radio show. The show airs on the Amazon AMP app. 4pm-5pm EST every Tuesday.

Lee Mergner will join WBGO Newark Public Radio as Editorial Content Producer. For more than 30 years, Mergner served as an editor and publisher of JazzTimes. Mergner has also acted as organizer/producer for several jazz industry conferences.

NPR and Futuro Studios are working together on a new, dual language podcast which will use soccer to explore themes of identity, capitalism, immigration, class, and race. NPR's Jasmine Garsd will host the show that will be published in both English and Spanish.

'Cash the Ticket' is hosted by 97.1 The Ticket’s (WXYT-FM) Mike Valenti and Jim Costa. Twice weekly episodes will spotlight both the NFL and college football from Labor Day until the end of the season.

'iHeartLand' has debuted in the Metaverse. It combines gameplay with entertainment events, programming and 'Fortnite' fan experiences. The event series kicks-off with a performance by Grammy nominated singer Charlie Puth on September 9.

Cumulus Media has launched 'The SGNL' (The Signal), a streaming only radio station in Syracuse, New York. The station features the Triple A format.

WBIG-FM, Washington D.C. is the home of the new "Overtime with Coach Ron and Don" show. The Wednesday morning show is hosted by Ron Rivera, Commanders Head Coach and Don Geronimo.

Salem Media Group has announced that George Brauchler has been named weekday morning host at KNUS-AM in Denver. Brauchler replaces Peter Boyles who retired earlier this year.
