Liberated Syndication has acquired German podcast company Julep Media. Julep Media is Germany’s largest independent platform for podcast advertising.

Skyview Networks has added six new sales positions and a mentorship program. Two slots have been filled with audio industry sales veterans, while the additional four slots, in the mentorship program, are filled with new, entry-level Network Sales Account Executives.

Longtime KNX News anchor and podcaster Mike Simpson moves to mornings to host the show alongside co-host Vicky Moore and traffic reporter and news personality Jennifer York. The moves follow the retirement of morning news anchor Dick Helton after 24 years at KNX.

The Boston Globe is reporting that WBLQ owner Christopher DiPaola has died at the age of 49. The cause of death was not announced. On the air, DiPaola was known as “Crazy” Chris DiPaola. WBLQ is located in Westerly, RI.
