The Radio Advertising Bureau will be sharing its key findings from the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The session will take place Wednesday, January 11 at 1 p.m. Eastern Time. The online event is free for RAB members; an on-demand version will be available later.

Broadcast sales consultant and workshop leader Valerie Geller will host a free seminar for sellers and leaders on January 10. The seminar, called Never Be Boring, will offer enhanced guidance for sales and marketers to help their most-productive clients in 2023. To register, go HERE.

Max Media's River Radio says it has hired Missouri native Whitney Thomas to serve as the morning show host at Cape Giradeau's country station KEZS (102.9 FM, K103). She takes over the morning time slot from Kent Crider, who hosted at the station for two decades.

Audience.io says Beasley Media Group is its newest client, with the company using Audience.io's tools to grow its digital audience and create new revenue opportunities. The partnership will allow Beasley to better tap into local and national digital advertisers.

iHeartMedia has announced a slate of new voice assistant and automotive integrations for its free iHeartRadio app. The initiatives include several partnerships to integrate iHeartRadio content onto in-dash infotainment displays as well as one to build out an iHeart-specific voice-powered smart assistant.

Cumulus has appointed Darlene Park as Vice President of its station cluster in Indianapolis. Park joins Cumulus from Denver, where she worked as the D.O.S. for Bonneville's stations there; she also serves on RAB's Sales Advisory Committee.

Beasley Media Group has appointed digital program director "Cody" Blaine Jackson as the newest morning co-host at Augusta's WKXC (99.5 FM, Kicks 99). Jackson joins Bryan "Dub" Axelson on the morning show.

The Georgia Association of Broadcasters has announced its list of Hall of Famers for 2023. Play-by-play announcer Al Ciraldo, WSB morning host Scott Slade, Audacy's Atlanta market manager Rick Caffey and GPR operations manager Tom Barclay were among those honored.

According to Axios, the deal is with Rumble and the podcast will be called Triggered with Don Jr, which is the name of his 2019 book. Axios reports that the live show will air twice per week beginning the week of January 23rd.
