White Communication's Classic Hits 107.9 (KZRS) in Great Bend, KS has signed a multi-year agreement to broadcast the Kansas City Chiefs. The station will also air pre-game and post-game shows, Chiefs Kingdom, and Minute with Mitch.

Audible and BBC Studios are set to launch a new podcast narrated by Oscar-nominee Rosamund Pike. Mother, Neighbor, Russian Spy will tell the true story of Cindy Murphy, a wife, mother, and finance professional, who was revealed to be a Russian sleeper agent by the FBI.

A new survey by Pew Research Center has revealed that podcast listening in the United States is highly fragmented, with no single show dominating. The survey also showed which podcast genres are the most popular, with politics taking the top of the list.

Dr. Shelley Stewart, a Birmingham radio and civil rights legend who started his career in the 1940s, has launched Shelley's Plumbline. The podcast uses Stewart's archival interviews to urge unity to problems that he has been discussing since the 1980s.

On Friday, Twitter removed the controversial labels describing NPR and other prominent broadcast news organizations as “government-funded.” The companies were informed by way of an email from Twitter owner Elon Musk, who said it came on the recommendation of Walter Isaacson.

John DeBella, morning radio personality on Beasley Media Group’s WMGK, has been inducted into the Philadelphia Music Alliance's 2023 Walk of Fame. DeBella is best known in the industry for being one of the earliest pioneers of the Morning Zoo format.

Rocky Cosgrove has been named Market Manager for Results Radio LLC's Chico, California cluster. Cosgrove now oversees KBQB-FM, KCEZ, KRQR, and KTHU, taking over from Josh Blumm. He was VP/Strategic Development for the past 14 years at Katz Radio Group. 

Shawn Patrick, the Assistant Program Director and afternoon host at Bonneville Denver’s KYGO, made his Grand Ole Opry debut over the weekend with some help from an old friend. When artist Chancey Williams found out he would be making his Opry debut on Saturday, April 22, he thought of Patrick.

With the preliminary hearing for accused murderer Bryan Kohberger approaching, ABC News has announced The Idaho Murders. The podcast will cover the murders of four University of Idaho in late 2022 and the manhunt that led to Kohberger's arrest.
