Audacy Denver’s KS 107.5 (KQKS), in collaboration with Soles4Souls and the Denver Dream Center, successfully concluded its inaugural “Beats and Sneaks” campaign, collecting and distributing more than 500 pairs of children’s sneakers. The summer-long initiative ran from June 19 to August 12.
The campaign ended with an event at the Aztlan Recreation Center, where the kids were provided with a new pair of shoes. The event also featured games, contests, and lunch. Custom sneakers for Latto and Cardi B, designed by local artist Breanna Berry, were auctioned to contribute to the campaign’s success.
Audacy’s Regional Vice President of Rhythmic and Brand Manager of KQKS, DJ Buck, said, “This is the connection between radio and community engagement…getting out and connecting with our listeners and showing them that we care about our community.”
