Several candidates competing to replace Gavin Newsom as Governor of California will face off in a televised debate at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda on August 4the from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Hugh Hewitt (pictured) is the moderator and Salem Radio Network will distribute the program.

If all goes according to plan for Urban One, the City of Richmond will hold a November referendum and local voters will approve a new casino. Urban One's proposal was chosen by the City to build that casino if it passes.

That's what station owner Tavis Smiley tells The Los Angeles Standard Newspaper. Tavis says his radio station is unapologetically Black and in the interview he details exactly what he wants his radio station to be.

That's the headline in The Mercury News now that Elder is officially on the ballot and his campaign is in full swing. And, there are some in that state who believe Elder has a serious shot at becoming the next executive in charge of the 5th largest economy on the planet.

Nielsen reported revenue growth in Q2 of 6.2% from $811 million to $861 million. Audience Measurement revenues of $629 million increased 4.3%. Free cash flow for the ratings firm jumped to $190 million, from $86 million.
