The Broadcasters Foundation of America is honoring several broadcasters this year including Pierre Bouvard, Christine Travaglini and Dennis Wharton for their contributions to the industry. NAB CEO Gordon Smith will also be receiving a very special award.

As the new home for Fresno State Athletics, iHeartMedia is rebranding its Country station in Fresno as 102.7 The Bulldog until Saturday. The temporary rebrand will coincide with the Fresno State Bulldogs football home opener.

That's what Meruelo Media’s Cali 93.9 in Los Angeles wants everyone to know. After the recent hire of Melissa Rios from Power 106, the station is covered entirely by female hosts. Meruelo Media VP of Audio Brands Haz Montana calls them “Cali’s Angels."

On the same day the FDA gave final approval for the Pfizer vaccine, Beasley Media Group became the third major radio company to require employees get vaccinated, following Cumulus and Radio One. Beasley employees have until November first to get fully vaccinated.
