'North Star Journey: A journal exploring the history and culture of Minnesota communities', will feature weekly radio segments, web stories and multimedia components.
NAB Getting More Aggressive For You
The NAB Radio Board has approved an on-air campaign to educate listeners on The American Music Fairness Act. The goal of the campaign is to educate listeners to the harm of legislation that would impose another fee on free radio.
Eastlan Adds 6 New Markets
The six newest Eastlan markets are: Chico CA, Hot Springs AR, Redding CA, San Angelo TX, Utica NY and Waco TX. Galaxy CEO Ed Levine, who owns stations in Utica, said it’s time to change.

The Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio organization has extended the deadline for applications for its 2022 Mildred Carter Mentoring Program to Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
The Pandemic And Learning
New Jersey 101.5 (WKXW-FM) upcoming Town Hall broadcast will look at the impact the pandemic has had on students and the loss of learning. Eric Scott, Senior Political Director for the station; will host a panel of educators, behavioral specialists, education advocates and policymakers to examine how best to deal with pandemic-induced learning loss.

Nielsen Rejects Buyout Offer
The ratings firm announced on Sunday that its Board of Directors has decided not to proceed with an unsolicited acquisition proposal from a private equity consortium that valued the company at $25.40 per share. The board determined the offer "significantly undervalues" the company.
