BMI reported record-setting revenue and royalty distributions for its fiscal year that ended June 30th. The Company announced it has distributed and administered $1.471 billion to its songwriters, composers and publishers, its highest distribution ever, up $136 million or 10% over last year.

The man who founded the company that would go on to become the biggest radio group in the United States has died. Lowry Mays passed away Monday at the age of 87. The announcement of his death was made by his alma mater, Texas A&M University.

Nick Cannon will host the 2022 Marconi Radio Awards Dinner on October 19 during NAB Show New York. After a two-year hiatus the ceremony returns in person to NYC to celebrate excellence in radio.
