Jeff Kahane (pictured here) started his law firm 14 years ago with one paralegal. Today, the firm has 40 employees, including 18 lawyers covering every aspect of the law. Over the last two years Kahane has been using radio to help grow his business even more, which is happening, despite Calgary's economy experiencing tough times due to crashing oil prices.

Emmis Getting $60 Million For St. Louis Cluster
As part of its previously announced agreements to sell its St. Louis stations, Emmis announced on Friday it has entered into definitive agreements to sell its St. Louis stations KSHE-FM and KPNT-FM to Hubbard Radio for $45 million, and KFTK-FM and KNOU-FM to Entercom for $15 million.
From Radio Disney To Digital Boss
Last week, Alpha Media named Ernie Martinez National Director of Digital Content. Martinez has come a long way from his first gig in radio when he was 19 and a producer for Radio Disney. As the head of Alpha's Digital Division, Martinez is now responsible for the digital strategy for hundreds of Alpha's radio stations, and that includes finding ways to bring in digital revenue.

WFAN Signs Yankee Manager For Show
New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone will join Sports Radio WFAN in New York, the flagship station for the Yankees, every Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Boone will appear on WFAN’s PM drive show hosted by Chris Carlin, Maggie Gray, and Bart Scott. Boone will also be interviewed by Yankees announcer Suzyn Waldman during all pre-game shows throughout the season.
