WRAL Raises $605K For Duke Children
WRAL-FM held its 25th annual Radiothon for Duke Children's on December 17th and 18th. The 25-hour broadcast was hosted by the MIX morning show hosts Kyle Smelser, Bryan Lord and Sarah King and was the largest fundraiser of the year for the hospital taking in over $605,000.
Cans, Cash and A Happy Community
The Morning Team of Fred Caruso and Amy Bates from WFTN-FM in Concord/Lakes Region, NH broadcast live from 25 central New Hampshire businesses December 6-13. The duo accepted cash and non-perishable food from listeners, benefiting ten local organizations. Over 20,000 food items and $43,000 in cash was donated.
Seven Mountains Builds A Bigger Mountain in Elmira
Seven Mountains Media is purchasing Elmira stations WMTT-FM, WPHD-FM, WZHD-FM and 12 FM translators from George Hawras and Kevin Fitzgerald ‘s Equinox Broadcasting and Europa Communications. Seven Mountains will add these to their already existing five-station Elmira cluster.

Cumulus, 49ers Raise $125K For Youth Sports
KNBR-AM/FM in San Francisco and the San Francisco 49ers brought in over $125,000 during the third annual 49ers Foundation Holiday Sports Auction. The money will go toward Bay Area youth sports initiatives.
