Marc Guild, the son of former Interep founder Ralph Guild, has died. Marc's first job was in the radio business. He worked at Interep for years, holding many positions there including Head of Research, VP of Operations, and President of Marketing.

Entercom Q4 Revenue Increases 1%
With revenue of just over $414 million in the fourth quarter of 2019, Entercom added just about $3 million to its top line compared to Q4 2018. For the year, Entercom says revenue was up 2%.
Investor Group To Acquire Majority Stake In Univision
The Spanish-language media company has been entertaining offers since last summer. An investor group led by former Viacom CFO Wade Davis has agreed to acquire a 64% majority stake in Univision. Davis will become the CEO. The group includes private equity firm Searchlight Capital and ForgeLight.
KC LPFM Cranks It Too Loud
It was 499% above its allowed 10-watt output, according to an FCC notice of violation. The Commission also wrote up Iglesia Pentecostal Casa De Dios Para Las Naciones, owner of LPFM KCGG-LP, for not logging EAS tests. Read the notice HERE.

Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
Nashville's Hip-Hop and R&B station WUBT, and Gospel station WNRQ, will hold the 6th Annual Sista Strut Breast Cancer walk to promote breast cancer screenings in the African American community.
