The turmoil of the Trump Administration is set to be the subject of a new podcast from iHeartPodcast. The Whistleblowers: Inside The Trump Administration, co-produced with Best Case and Ark Media, aims to provide listeners with an in-depth look into the administration’s chaotic inner workings.
The series will be hosted by former Chief of Staff of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Miles Taylor. Taylor became a whistleblower himself during the Trump administration, publishing an opinion piece in The New York Times in 2018 that brought to light issues of presidential misconduct.
The Whistleblowers: Inside The Trump Administration will be available starting July 13, with new episodes released every Thursday. Guests on the podcast will include former officials and public servants from the Trump administration, such as former National Security Agency contractor Reality Winner, former FBI acting director Andrew McCabe, and others.
Taylor said, “My aim is to bring listeners into the room – and into the lives – of those who tried to bring order to the chaos of the Trump years, while grappling with the most difficult decision of their lives: whether to openly speak the truth. They knew that doing so meant near-certain retribution, costing them their homes, jobs, marriages, safety – and – changing the course of history. I intend to question: Was it all worth it?”
