Benztown and P1 Media Group, in collaboration with the Global Radio Ideas Facebook Group, will be hosting a free webinar titled “How One Programmer Conquered San Diego, the World, and Created a Nation” on June 22.
The 40-minute webinar will be hosted by Benztown CEO Andreas Sanneman and P1 Media Group Partner Ken Benson. The featured speaker will be Randy Williams, aka R Dub, the Creator, Host, and Producer of the popular syndicated radio show Sunday Night Slow Jams that airs on over 200 stations worldwide. Williams is also the Director of Programming for San Diego’s Z90 (XHITZ) and Magic 92.5 XHRM.
During the webinar, Williams will share his insights and answer questions from attendees on various topics, including his strategies for building and growing a successful radio show, the success of Magic 92.5, challenges faced by the CHR format, notable promotions he executed at Z90, the use of research and audio imaging for building strong audio brands, his book Go Syndicate Yourself, and his remarkable achievement of visiting every country in the world. Additionally, Williams will discuss his decision to create his own micronation, Slowjamastan, in the California desert, of which he serves as dictator (most days).
