Media Monitors: Where’d This Advertiser Go This Week?

0

According to the latest data from Media Monitors for the week ending April 30, there was a shocking disappearance of one major advertiser from the top five.

Maintaining its steady pace for the fifth consecutive week, Progressive emerged as the top radio advertiser of the week with 61,812 spots. Babbel pulled itself up to second with 51,199 ads. Meanwhile, the competition among hiring companies remained neck-and-neck, while both companies increased spot play. Indeed landed third with 50,906, while ZipRecruiter ended in fourth place with 49,857.

Breaking back into the top five is Home Depot after a week’s absence with a much lower 39,153 commercials. It is worth noting that Upside, which held the leading position for the past five weeks fell entirely from the ranks. After a week of very strong airplay at 65,436, it plummeted by almost half to 33,617.

Fortunately, the total play across the top five remains much stronger to start Q2 after a weak national Q1 raised red flags across the industry.
