Jessica Delfino hosts ‘The Mom Report’, a weekly feature on Pocono 96.7FM (WABT-FM). She says the feature is everything a Pocono mom needs to know and, “a source for motherhood awesomeness.”
Delfino is a mom, publicist, and a freelance writer for The New York Times and other publications by day. At night she is a twisted comedic musician who sings original comedic songs along with what she calls “mutilated classic rock covers.”
‘The Mom Report’ is part of Gary Cee’s morning program, every Monday, on Pocono 96.7FM. Jessica met Gary when she appeared as a musical guest on his program. “Jessica is fabulous, and she does it all. Comic, singer, songwriter, author, radio host. She’ll even sell you a sponsorship.”
Delfino came up with the idea of ‘The Mom Report’ segment after joining a Pocono-based Mom’s Facebook group with nearly 12,000 members. She now has her own Facebook Group.
“Motherhood can be a lonely and invisible place, and it’s encouraging that Gary and Neversink Media are supporting local moms with this segment,” said Delfino. “There are a lot of moms in this area who could use a little pizzazz in the mornings. I’m going to be the one to provide it. There is nothing like this on the radio.”
